On Saturday, June 5^th, between rainstorms, the 2^nd Annual Rick Carson Memorial 3-Par Golf Tournament for CAM was played.  Thanks to First Farmers Bank and Trust for their sponsorship of this “Fun-Raising Event” for CAM, Inc.  Also, thanks to Tom Hanlon for making the tournament so much fun.

       Raising $2,310 for CAM, 39 players enjoyed breakfast, golfing, and lunch.  The Team of Bob Whitehead, Clint Coon, Roger Lamberson, and Steve Short won with 48, six under par.  Thanks, also, to the other golfers - Corey Addison, Tyler Addison, Don Banush, Darrin Bogue, Dianne Brahm, Evan Brahm, Mike Brahm, Wally Brahm, Jaymes Cardwell, Warren Dugan, Nick Dunlap, Mitchell Harell, Cindy Harrold, Tom Harrold, Jeff Henderson, William Jenks, Tigh Lane, Bob Lawson, Don Lindberg, Bill Lucas, Brett Lucas, Garry Moore, Bill Rayle, Jeff Rice, Nick Rice, Larry Rolland, John Rutherford, Tom Sanders, Dave Shearer, Chris Smith, Dave Smith, Don Smith, Karen Smith, Dirk Webster, and Teddy White.  Thanks to Dan’s Donuts and Marsh who helped with a donation toward the food.  The great lunch was prepared by Joey Hanlon, Trudy Banush, and Elsie Caldwell’s special barbecue hamburger sauce.

       It was a great day for a good cause.  As you know, with the economy, the need is on the increase for the homeless and near homeless.  In the month of April, CAM served 570 people - 62 were children and youth; 74 were new clients.
